The
Brasshoppers offer workshops to wind/brass musicians, percussionists and
interested non musicians of all abilities, ages and backgrounds. Musical
styles covered range from Samba & Calypso through to R'n'B & Funk and
our workshops usually end with some sort of public performance (that's
important!)

HEREFORD
SCHOOLS WORKSHOPS 2001
The Brasshoppers worked at two schools on
consecutive days - the resultant performance in the Courtyard Theatre
by the two groups combining to make a 70 piece band bought the house down!
"The best day I’ve had at school ....ever"
Tim Oakley (12 yrs old Alto Saxophonist)
"You got exactly the right tone with the kids: sheer enjoyment in the
process of making music - laid back but nontheless aiming for a product
to be proud of !"
Dave Newall - Music Teacher
