COME AND 'AVE A GO IF YOU SINK YOU'RE 'ARD ENOUGH!
You have got to bear in mind that the basis of this story was said in jest - but sometimes things do become a little surreal!

The Brasshoppers play each year at Musicalarue festival in the Landes region of France. It's a unique festival with a great atmosphere. One year whilst playing in Bar Circle (the only bar in town - dimensions circa 6 x 12 metres - capacity 300+ !) the one and only Tony Peers (trumpet) had it in mind to start chanting a phrase he had heard on the terraces at Anfield (Liverpool F.C.). As other members of the band joined in, your erstwhile administrator, web designer and tenor sax player (that's me - Toby) looked on horrified!

However .... not wishing to be left out, the French audience also joined in, and we experienced one of the most magic, incredible, surreal moments in Brasshoppers history. Over 300 French and 8 Englishmen chanting in perfect harmony those immortal words
"come and have a go if you think you're hard enough"!
or more accurately "come and 'ave a go if you sink you're 'ard enough"!
