Solar saltworks: Cox
and Speller are advisors to the National Investment Bank in Ghana in
respect to the operations of some 12 solar saltworks and have
been involved in six other saltworks projects in Ghana since 1991. |

| Biofuels: Peter Speller has
recently completed an assignment to assess the most cost-effective
demonstrated technology for large-scale manufacture of biodiesel, for
implementation in the UK. |

| Expert Witness:
Dr John Cox and Peter Speller are
both Members of the Academy of Experts and have been expert witnesses
for numerous disputes, including (illustrated) the explosion at
Albright & Wilson's Avonmouth works on 3rd October 1996. |

| Risk Assessment:
Peter
Speller has
completed HAZOP training for process engineers for one of the UK's
leading manufacturers of cobalt chemicals, to allow them to perform
in-house studies more effectively. He has also completed a number of
hazardous area classifications and risk assessments required by DSEAR. |

| Restoration:
Cox and Speller are the designers for the new open pan
saltworks for the Lion
Saltworks Trust - as
featured in the BBC "Restoration" series. When
commissioned, visitors will see block salt made by
traditional 19th Century technology whilst conforming to
21st Century standards. |
