S.S. KYLE RHEA
Single Hatch Steam Coaster. Formally "TODD HEAD".
The "KYLE RHEA" was built as the "TODD HEAD" and carried coal around the coast of the United Kingdom, she is typical of the small coastal steamers of the earlier part of this century.
Our beautifully moulded hull come complete with port holes, hawse pipe holes, wash ports, panama ports and full side rubbing strakes moulded in, this superb hull is ideal for the installation of a steam plant, especially as the whole rear superstructure can be made removable, as the model also features a large forward hatch this can also be made removable. The inside height at the back is 6.1/2" to 7.1/2". Electric power can also be used and R/C is a must.
The plans are supplied full-size to suit the model, the largeish scale makes for easy and rapid construction, this is a model that looks superb on the water and can be made by a beginner as a first time model.
