American WWII Patrol Torpedo Boat.
This fine 1/2" to 1ft. scale one piece hull is of a P.T. Boat as built by `Elco' to a design by Scott Paine. Hull comes complete with a full-size plan of a typical P.T. BOAT of this period, no two boats were exactly the same as they were extensively modified by their crews to suit the actions they saw, it was one of these boats the assasinated U.S. President John F. Kennedy commanded in the Pacific war against Japan.
Our hull, with a detailed, yet easy to build superstructure makes up into a very nice model, ideal for R/c. and `540' type motors this boat will perform well, suitable for the first time modeller who wants a reasonably fast scale model.
