This handsome paddle steamer was built in 1893 and was a well known vessel in the Bristol channel in the early part of the 20th. century. Our hull is made from a mould made from a Brian King plug.
The lines have been increased in depth under the waterline by 5/8" to increase displacement for a working model.
Plans are full size and drawn by P.N.Thomas and supplied by 'X-List' plans service.
Model is more suited to the experienced modeller as NO construction detail is shown for hull or paddle wheels, however the paddle boxes can be modified during construction to take the "Graupner" paddle sets by the more experienced builders. An attractive model off a fine vessel.
Included is our unique "CONSTRUCTION MANUAL", this informative illustrated guide gives step-by-step instructions on how to fit out a typical GRP hull and is full of a wealth of useful hints and tips, as well as a list of other suppliers and manufacturers.
