The introduction of the material packs is yet another new idea from METCALF MOULDINGS, many modeller have difficulty sourcing the basic sheet materials to use with their hulls, the packs normally consist of the following materials:-

HIGH IMPACT POLYSTYRENE SHEETS (HIPS) all of a nominal size of 685mm x 265mm, (26" x 10.8") these sheets come in thicknesses of 2mm, 1.5mm, 1mm & 0.75mm white (normally with a matt/matt surface finish) and 1mm clear (with protective film each side). Each pack contains enough material to make up the following : Deck beams, main decks, hatch coamings, main superstructure, wheelhouse, bridge wings, hatches, doors, window frames, funnel(s) and deck lockers.

This material is made in the UK to British Standard, it is all virtually consistently of the highest quality and handling characteristics. The material is easily glued with ordinary styrene cement, and to the GRP hull with epoxy glue, can be painted straight onto with no filling or priming, fittings are easily glued to it with 'supa-glue'. If you follow the suggested directions in our unique "Construction Booklet" supplied free with each hull purchased, an effective and clean model is easily constructed by even the beginner.

Three sizes of material packs are available, these are :-

• SMALL (S): Suitable for models up to 40"lg.

• MEDIUM (M): Suitable for models up to and including 50"lg.

• LARGE (L): Suitable for models over 50"lg.
