Our model hull for the Royal Dutch navy's new standard Frigate design features "Hr.Ms. KORTENAER" these 3,500ton vessels have gas turbine power supplying 58,000shp, giving the ship a top speed in excess of 30knots. with a main armament of 2 x 76mm. Otto-Malara guns, missiles and twin Sea King helicopters they are a very useful ship.
Our beautifully detailed hull includes all stern cut-outs, anchor recesses, waterline and front sonar dome moulded in, this used with the superbly detailed two sheet set of plans by MARBETH DESIGNS allows for a highly detailed model to be built, using R/C. and twin `545' motors a good on the water performance can be attained, this one is really for builders with some experience.
