R.N.L.I. 52ft. ARUN LIFEBOAT. Arun Class Lifeboat. The "ARUN" class lifeboat is a fast afloat boat and when introduced was the largest and most capable in this country. This model is of the 52ft. version with the earlier glassfibre superstructure. The model comes as HULL & DECK JOINED TOGETHER the hull has the spray rails moulded in and the deck has all the raised positioning plates for winches, fairleads and stanchions. There is also available a one piece MOULDED SUPERSTRUCTURE, this forms the access hatch, all windows, grills and deck lights are moulded in. Note!. The cabin is for the earlier glassfibre version with rounded corners. The sketch plan shows detail which needs to be added to complete the model. Ideal for R/C. and large electric power the model, as with all large models, looks magnificent on the water, again being extensively pre-fabricated construction can be quick and the first time builder need not be too worried about completing her.
