FIREBOAT GAMMA.
1910 London Fire Brigade Fireboat.
The "GAMMA" fireboat was built in 1910 for the London Fire Brigade, originally intended for steam engines, but the design was changed during construction and diesel engines and pumps were fitted, the funnel was retained to provide ventilation to the engineroom.
The model hull has surprisingly graceful hull lines, she is obviously perfect for multi channel R/C use, electric power (or even steam) will drive her nicely, with the large single bow monitor she is ideal for fitting with a working monitor. Our drawings allow a good scale model to be built, owing to her large scale she is ideal for the first time builder.
