CLYDE PUFFER.
This is a large scale hull of a well known type of Scottish coastal craft, made even more famous by the books about `Para Handy' and of course the recent television series staring Gregor Fisher.
Our hull has plate lines, rubbing strakes and washport positions all moulded in, with a slightly battered air about the hull this makes for a really attractive finished item. The hull is very capacious making it more than suitable for steam power or large electric power capable of carrying large batteries for long duration runs.
No plan is provided with the model, however Nexus do several puffer plans that can easily be enlarged to suit the hull, at such a large scale the making of fittings is fairly easy and a highly detailed model can be made, as no two puffers were ever the same personal detailing can be used to great effect.
