HMS BRYONY.

WWII Royal Navy Flower Class Corvette.

This superbly detailed and moulded hull is of "HMS BRYONY" one of the many well known `Flower' class corvettes built during WWII, she was launched at Harland & Wolff, Belfast in March 1942.

The hull is for "HMS BRYONY" as with a long forecastle, however this could be cut back as on some of the other Flowers, thus the hull can be use for all of the class.

The beautifully detailed hull comes with very well detailed two sheet full-size plan set by DAVID MacGREGOR and shows her as in 1942 when fitted out for acoustic and magnetic mine-sweeping, the model hull has all plate lines, portholes, hawse holes and washports moulded in.

As with all larger models she looks really magnificent on the water, ideal for R/C. and electric power, she is even big enough to take a steam plant!, we feel that with the availability of 1:48 warship fittings she could be tackled by the first time warship builder making a very attractive and pleasing model capable of taking heavy weather conditions.
