HMS BRONNINGTON.
Royal Navy `Ton' Class mine-sweeper.
One of the many wooden hulled `Ton' class inshore mine-sweepers built for the Royal Navy in the 1950's, "HMS BRONNINGTON" was built at Cook Welton & Gemmell in 1954. Her name became well recognised when commanded by Lieutenant the Prince of Wales. The hull can be used for any one of the many of the class built.
This beautifully shaped hull, which looks good on the water, together with the full-size plans, which detail all the mine-sweeping gear, means a wealth of detail can be built by the scale enthusiast, but equally can be tackled by the not so experienced. Fitted with twin `545' and R/C. she makes for a good looking all weather model.
