1980's "HUNT" class mine-sweeper.
This model of the `HUNT' class mine counter measures vessel as in 1980, it comes lightly, but accurately moulded, the detailed hull features the main belt moulded in, and shows the location of the side strips to port, with anchor recesses and sonar dome positions all marked. This full-size class of ship was moulded in GRP by `Vosper Thorneycroft'.
This model is on the small side, and weight is critical to maintain the model on a correct and stable waterline, it is easily possible to fit modern miniature R/C gear, with twin motors and battery and still add lead ballast. We do though recommend this as the project for the more experienced builders, Note that NO PLAN IS PROVIDED!
