The steel butt hinge style 1838 is probably the most commonly specified in the UK. It is available in sizes from 38 mm to 102 mm.

The style 1840 loose pin variant is produced in 76 & 102 mm sizes.

These light gauge hinges are available in a variety of finishes including self colour, sherardized, zinc plated, electro brass, together with white, black and a variety of powder coated colours.

Style 1838 & 1840 hinges are also available with round corners.

For heavier doors the style 451 hinge is available in 75 or 100 mm sizes, and the pattern 899 hinge is available in sizes up to 150 mm.

Stainless Steel Hinges are available in a range from 75 mm style 1838 up to a 114 x 102 mm heavy duty hinge fitted with a security stud.
