I am a freelance photographer (NCTJ trained) based between Coventry and Leicester, and available to cover assignments in both the Midlands and nation-wide.

I have sixteen years’ experience as a professional photographer and hold three awards. For the past seven years I have been freelancing for national magazines and newspapers, as well as corporate magazines for many blue-chip companies. Commercial work (including architecture, interiors, aerial and still life) is also regularly undertaken. Many years in photojournalism have led to my covering reportage weddings too. This fresh and spontaneous style has become a hallmark, and is applied to every assignment.

Prior to starting my own business, I spent five years as a senior staff photographer at the Coventry Evening Telegraph. Before that, I worked for the Kentish Times and the East Kent Gazette.

Recent assignments include photography for:

• The Royal Life Saving Society to photograph Her Royal Majesty The Queen in the Buckingham Place music room;
• Westbury Homes’ Leftbank luxury apartments brochures;
• Jephson Housing Association's annual reports;
• Dunelm Mill-Shop (soft-furnishings chain) website;
• Sibford School's appeals brochure;
• A year-long architectural contract for Warwick Castle, taking pictures of the castle in different lighting/weather/seasons (including aerial shots) for brochures and world-wide publicity campaigns;
• Coventry and Warwickshire Promotions conference brochure - interior and exterior photographs of thirty hotels in three weeks.

I have very high quality digital cameras, which produce file sizes of up to 16.9Mb (equivalent to a 10" x 7" print at 300dpi). I can e-mail the pictures within minutes of taking them when working to a really tight deadline. Pictures can also be written onto CD. I can make prints from digital files, just as I can from negatives. I also have medium format, 35mm, and architectural (perspective control) cameras, plus studio lighting, for a fully-comprehensive photographic service.
