"The Mages Guild represent the force of balance within the world. We seek to further the practice of magic to all within Edreja without favour or bias. It is to the Mages Guild alone that Edreja has entrusted the embodiment of its magic, the four Quarters or Tomes of Magic as they are known. As a force of balance we openly practice neutrality and often act as mediators amoungst the turmoil of Faction politics. We have been custodians of the Gathering Treaty since its founding in 1092.
The Mages Guild safeguards the worlds Rituals Circles against the random forces that always seek to disrupt them.
The flow of magic will prevail."
