* Saxon Church *
The most complete church of its kind in England, its existence was forgotten for centuries. Rediscovered in the nineteenth century, it was returned to its former use after restoration. Lower parts date from the 7th century.
* Tithe Barn *
Built in the 14th century as a granary for Shaftesbury Abbey, it is 168 feet long and one of the largest tithe barns in the country. The stone-tiled roof weighs 100 tons.
