Sample Tours

The cost of golfing in Scotland can range from the ridiculously inexpensive to pricey - but worth it - and everywhere in between. Much the same can be said for the accommodation. Only you know the price you are prepared to pay for the holiday you want - the more information you give us, the easier it will be to prepare a package which will suit you best,

If I had to give one piece of advice, however, it would be that you don't have to break the bank to enjoy golfing in Scotland. If your budget can stretch to staying and playing at Turnberry and Gleneagles then well and good , and we will gladly make all the arrangements. If however, you are operating on a more modest budget, then I hope that we have shown that this will not keep you from playing top quality golf courses and enjoying an excellent standard of accommodation.

Some of the courses, such as Machrie, Machrihanish and Traigh, are so isolated that it would be best to discuss the best way of mixing them with other courses by Email exchange.

The following sample itineraries show some of the packages we can provide but, as always, these are merely examples, and tailor made packages can be organised to reflect the particular combinations of courses and accommodation which would best suit you.

East Lothian Tour (Value) - East Lothian Tour (Executive) - Lothian, Fife and Angus Tour (Executive)
- Highland Tour - Grampian - From West to East

Accommodation

When selecting the accomodation to include in our tours we wanted to be certain that the emphasis was firmly on quality. To this end all Hotels, Guest Houses, Bed & Breakfast and self-catering establishments have been visited by us and come with our personal recommendation.

In addition it is our policy, wherever possible, to use only establishments which are covered by the Scottish Tourist Board Quality Assurance Scheme. The Scottish Tourist Board employs trained and impartial inspectors who visit properties every year and give a grading that is consistent across the whole of Scotland. The criteria used includes: ambience, cleanliness, hospitality, accomodation standard and quality of food.

Properties are then graded as follows :

Bruntsfield Hotel

Exceptional,World Class.

Excellent.

Very Good.

Good.

It is our policy to use establishments with a grading of at least stars. Where this is not possible we will make this clear.

Self-catering Accomodation can be provided on request.

With the Quality Assurance Scheme you can trust the Scottish Tourist Board - and us - to have done all the research, leaving you to relax and enjoy your holiday.
