during your visit. The course descriptions carry star rankings used in
Golf Worlds review of the 1000 best courses in Britain and Ireland. The
rankings were arrived at largely using feed back from readers based on
a number of criteria, including : value for money, course presentation,
course difficulty and the quality of welcome. This was used to
provide overall star ratings as follows :

Excellent - outstanding golf.
