ABOUT J.BRACHI ASSOCIATES

J. Brachi Associates is a recently established group of Building Surveyors based on the Isle of Wight.  Collectively we have extensive experience of nearly all aspects of the construction industry and associated health and safety matters. 

The group is currently carrying out projects for Portsmouth City Council (Engineering and Design) and in the past has worked for Southampton University and Enfield Council, as well as other private clients.

  J. Brachi, (director), is a member of the Royal Institution of Building Surveyors and a “Tec Spec” member of the National Institution for Occupational Safety and Health.  The director has extensive experience in fire protection and the preparation of fire risk assessments as well as an extensive knowledge  of managing construction sites both from a health and safety  point of view and as a building professional. 

  The deputy director has over 20 years experience of managing building projects from inception to completion, ranging value from £5,000,000 to £5,000. He has particular experience in building maintenance and improvements to educational premises.

 At the introduction of L.M.S. ( Local Management of Schools) he helped manage budgets for individual schools where financial responsibility suddenly fell to the board of governors.  He advised them on how to put in place financial controls to satisfy internal and local audit.  On the building side he ensured that all work complied with current standards, particularly with respect to Health and Safety.
