The Fernhill Press was established in 1999, when after publishing my first two books with a large publishing house, I decided I would like to get more involved in the production side of things. I just liked the idea of taking my books from pen and notepad all the way to finished product. Quality was very important. I wanted to produce attractive and durable books that did justice to the effort invested in the writing - something I’m sure most authors would understand. The first title, The Complete Rabbit and Hare Hawk, received a terrific reception. The initial print run sold out in just ten months, and the book is now in its third printing. Several projects later, The Fernhill Press is an established publisher of high quality falconry books with a distribution network that carries its titles across the globe.
