I am a 'Full Status' registrant of the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (specialising in legal matters), which means that I continue to meet their stringent entry and registration criteria, I am security-cleared (Police Enhanced Disclosure), I have signed the Official Secrets Act 1989 and bound by its terms, I am accountable, and my performance is continually monitored by other language professionals.
The 'National Register' is administered by NRPSI Ltd, a wholly owned and 'not for profit' subsidiary of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, the UK's largest language professional body, established in 1910.
