REPATRIATION TO THE UNITED KINGDOM FROM OTHER COUNTRIES
Special regulations and formalities are also required for the repatriation to the United
Kingdom of persons who have died abroad and we are fully able to make all necessary
arrangements in such cases, including assisting with the necessary paper-work and
transportation details.
THE SOCIAL FUND
Help may be available towards the cost of the Funeral if you or your partner are in
receipt of one the following:
* Income Support
* Housing Benefit
* Council Tax Benefit
* Family Credit
* Disability Working Allowance
There are also additional benefits, applicable in certain circumstances, for example,
if the deceased was a war pensioner. Details of help available can be obtained from you
local Citizen's Advice Bureau or Department of Social Security.
